Game-Assets, Concept Art, & UI for a Strategy/Puzzle Game

For about 9 months I worked as the main 2D artist for the indie game Backbeat. During this time I created a number of graphic assets, including concept art, logos, UI, textures, etc. I designed and created almost all 2D assets for the game, which was an interesting challenge as it meant my workday was incredibly varied.

In addition to the art I was also responsible for writing the documentation and guides detailing on how the graphics should be implemented and used, and I communicated frequently with other members of the team to ensure a basic level of visual cohesion and consistency.

For my work I utilized a few different Software such as Adobe Photoshop, Figma and After Effects.
