I tried participating in “Dracula Daily”, a kind of online reading experience where you sign up to receive excerpts of the book via email, as if reading the events in real time. The experience inspired me to create a concept design of the classic book.

I created a design with a minimalist color palette to keep it modern but added illustrative details to create an aesthetic subtly reminiscent of the Victorian setting. I adore woodcut style illustrations and it felt like the natural choice for the look I wanted to create, but to change things up I use more consistent lines in order to modernize the style.

The illustration was drawn using Clip Studio Paint, the cover layout was done with Figma, and mockups were created using Adobe Photoshop.
