This website concept was built around the fictional company InterCat, a small cat food company, but the design is intended to be able to be adapted to other companies with similar products and aesthetics.

My vision behind the design is that it would be an approachable and “modern retro” kind of aesthetic, with easily accessible products and product information. A site which could easily be used by anyone, and which would feel appealing to most pet owners.

In addition to creating the style and layout of the website one of my major goals of the project was to create an almost fully functional prototype, which could clearly show how the website was expected to function. Despite it being my first time creating such a large prototype I succeeded and I’m quite happy with the result.

The design and prototype was made in Figma, images were retouched and enhanced in Adobe Photoshop, and illustrations were drawn in Clip Studio Paint.
